Senior's park boundary repaired

The concerned authorities taking due note of the concern of GSCPCR, informed the Sports Authority of India (SAI) to immediately look into the matter as they are responsible for regular maintenance works and seeking necessary permission to repair the areas affected. However SAI did not reply to their request to grant permission to repair the area.
PANAJI: Taking suo-moto cognisance of the broken and corroded railing of the senior citizens' park at Campal, managed by Magsons Pariwar, Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (GSCPCR) had brought it to the notice of the Magsons Pariwar that it was posing health hazard to small children that visit the park with their grandparents.
They then decided to put up a banner at the venue to inform visitors that renovation is underway. It was also noticed that park premises are misused by youth who drink alcohol there and discard liquor bottles, empty food packets and garbage. It was also noticed that the area does not have adequate lighting and no poor security arrangement
Despite requests from GSCPCR and Magsons Pariwar, SAI did not take any action and hence the Magsons Pariwar decided to go ahead with repair work and replaced the dilapidated boundary pole structure.
