The motorists, especially two-wheeler riders, were forced to drive/ride with extra precaution, as most roads had become slippery due to washout of mud.
While the temperature dipped a little, there were power supply interruptions even late Thursday evening.
For the first time in this summer, daytime temperature as low as 26 degree centigrade was recorded on Thursday evening after a hot and humid afternoon. By 4 pm, temperature again dipped with clouds covering the sky and breeze blowing in west-east direction with many anticipating signs of arrival of monsoon. There was thundering and rains began to drizzle especially in northern part of Canacona taluka and dark clouds hovering over the southern taluka.
