Siddhi Jhalmi awarded PhD

PANAJI: Siddhi K Jhalmi, research associate has been awarded PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The title of her thesis; 'Functional Characterization of a Group-C Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase OsMPK7 in Rice.' She did her research at National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), New Delhi, under the supervision of Dr Alok Krishna Sinha, NIPGR, New Delhi.

Sidhi completed her MSc in Marine Biotechnology at Goa University in 2008-2010. She did her BSc in Biotechnology at Dhempe College of Arts & Science, in 2005-2008. She is presently

working as research associate-III at National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi.
