Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo on Wednesday urged the State government to provide an X-ray machine and fill seven vacant posts at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Siolim.
She said the lack of an X-ray machine inconvenienced patients requiring radiological investigations, forcing them to visit other health facilities.
Lobo also highlighted the shortage of medical and other staff. In the absence of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant assured the House that he would direct the Director of Health Services to take necessary action.
