Special team sent to Chorao to restore power

A special team was dispatched to restore the power supply to affected parts of Chorao.

Mayem MLA Praveen Zantye had been following up the matter with Power Minister Nilesh Cabral and department officials to restore the power supply in the Mayem constituency.

Responding to the request of Zantye, Power Minister Nilesh Cabral dispatched a 40-member team of executive engineers, assistant engineers, junior engineers and staff to repair the damaged cables and poles, thereby restoring the power supply in Chorao.

Chorao Panchayat members, power department officials, workers and fire brigade staff were involved in the repair and restoration work.
