Office of the Sub-Divisional Engineer, Sub Div-II, Div X Ponda has started issuing of spot bills from June 4, for the two months covering the areas under section offices Shiroda, Borim, Bethora, Usgao and Dharbandora.
The consumers were complaining that power bills were issued once every four months and in some cases even once in six months even though it was promised that power bills would be issued every month.
The general public said they found it difficult to pay the amount when the bills are issued after a long time as the amounts run into high figures. They had demanded that power bills be issued every month so that the consumers do not feel the pinch.
