PANAJI: A group of students recently presented their exciting projects in electronics, robotics, and space technology. This event highlighted the creative work of various student teams and their contributions to real-world solutions.
The team led by Ajinkya Deshpande, Vimarsh Shah, and Ansh Parmeshwar discussed their project on "Autonomous, Power, and Life Detection." Their work is part of a larger initiative started in 2008, which aims to provide hands-on experience in engineering and robotics.
The group - Aerodynamics Club, is made up of aviation enthusiasts. Adarsh Pai and Raghav Mohan Kumar shared that the club competes in national and international competitions, where they currently rank 26th in the world for planes and 3rd in the country for drones. They are working on important research projects, including Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) technology, urban mobility solutions, and ornithopters, which can help with agricultural surveillance.
The Space Tech Club, affiliated with the international organization SEDS, also showcased their work. Avichal Verma explained that the club focuses on projects like rocketry, CANSAT, and HERC. They actively participate in submitting scientific data for research and aim to build instruments that help with public outreach and education.
