Students visit turtle nest
PERNEM: Students of Vidhyaprasarak High School, Morjim, visited a turtle nesting site at Tembwada-Morjim and were given detailed information on turtle conservation.
Forest officer Vilas Gawas informed the students that the endangered Olive Ridley turtles visit Tembwada and elaborated on the different kinds of turtles. Gawas also provided details on steps initiated by the Forest department to protect the Olive Ridley turtles in the State.
