The Telaulim gram sabha on Sunday has given the go-ahead nod to the panchayat body to implement one month rent on houses leasing out premises to tenants from the coming financial year.
The meeting chaired by Sarpanch Lena Fernandes also discussed a host of issues, ranging from non-functioning street lights to stray dogs facing the village. The meeting also deliberated at length the construction of a road at Bellem.
