MARGAO
As a police jeep tried to take away the head constable, the crowd stopped the vehicle demanding that the constable be taken for a medical examination. After the jeep along with the constable left the spot, the woman and a group of people proceeded to the Margao police station to lodge a complaint. The woman from Maina-Curtorim told the media that the incident occurred near the Sincro hotel after she had parked her two wheeler. The head constable also parked his car close to the bike. Arguments broke out between the duo when the constable claimed that her bike had damaged the car, a claim which she flatly rejected, attracting a crowd on the spot.
