Theatre training for students
PONDA: The Hauns Theatre Training Center (HTTC) at Ponda in coordination with the Directorate of Art and Culture will organise ‘Rangayatra-2016’ a theater training programme for the students of higher secondary and colleges from July 21.
HTTC has been organising the event since the last 10 years. The introductory workshop will be conducted at Warkhande-Ponda from July 21 to 24, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm; in SS Angle Higher Secondary School, Mashe-Canacona, from July 25 to 29, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm; and at Dyannprakash Higher Secondary School, Mulgao-Bicholim, from August 9 to 13, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Technical theatre workshop will be conducted for 20 selected students at HTTC Ponda on August 14 and 15, from 9 am to 4 pm. A further 15 students will be selected for residential training workshop. These will produce a play with introduction of black box. The play will be performed at 25 different places.
