Theft at Sawantwada house
PERNEM: Cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh were stolen from a house at Sawantwada-Halarna in Pernem.
According to Pernem Police, Suchal Revodkar of Sawantwada-Halarna complained that burglars had entered her house by removing the tiles of the roof, sometime between 8 am on January 25 and 4 pm on January 26, and had stolen gold ornaments and cash of Rs 4,000, all worth Rs 2 lakh.
Pernem Police is investigating the case.
