MARGAO: The Margao Police have arrested three persons and has lodged three minor children to the Apna Ghar, Merces upon a complaint lodged by the father that his minor son was allegedly assaulted by the accused persons.
The three persons have been remanded to seven days police custody.
The three arrested accused along with the three minor children with their common intention allegedly formed an unlawful assembly and in furtherance abused the complainant's minor son with filthy words, assaulted him with slaps & further threatened him with dire consequences.
The police have charged them for also circulating the video of the incident on social media thereby defaming the name of the complainant's minor son.
The police are investigating the motive behind the incident.
