Goans travelling to Belagavi via Londa are advised to take the Chorla or Hemadaga route as the railway gate between Londa and Gunji village on the NH4A will remain shut for two days from Wednesday.
According to authorities, this gate between Londha Gunji in Khanapur taluka will be closed for two days on Wednesday and Thursday as the work of double-tracking the railway line is in progress.
As the decision was announced suddenly, it is expected to cause inconvenience to motorists from Goa and Karnataka passing through this route as they now have to travel to Belagavi via Hemadaga or Chorla.
