Tree falls on house in Mapusa
MAPUSA: Incessant rains uprooted a tree which came down on a house in Cunchelim on Friday evening.
Although there was no loss of life due to the natural disaster, the owner claimed damages of around Rs 4 lakh.
Fire officials disclosed that the tiled roof of the house belonging to Ravi Karapurkar was partly damaged. Part of the wall had also collapsed, the officials said.
Fire officials were yet to make estimate the total loss caused in the mishap.
