Trespass case registered at Cuncolim

MARGAO: A case of trespass was registered based on the complaint lodged by Argus Rodrigues, resident of Cuncolim, on February 9. The complainant claimed that on February 6, the two suspects - Savio and Angelo - with their common intention, criminally trespassed into the property of the complainant who owns two structures in survey no 287/1 of Cuncolim village and further demolished both the structures belonging to the complainant using an excavator, thereby causing loss to the tune of Rs 3 lakh approximately. The Cuncolim police arrested the accused under Sections 447 and 427 r/w 34 of IPC and later released them on the same day.

Further investigations are in progress.
