VALPOI: A 40-year-old truck driver from Guleli-Sattari died after his vehicle fell into the river at Guleli late Tuesday night.
According to Valpoi Police, Namdev Morto Nanshikar rammed the truck into a fence of the Kankeri bridge at Guleli and the vehicle along with him fell into the river.
Police further informed that the incident occurred at about 11.30 pm, when Nanshikar was proceeding to Kankeri in his truck (GA-02-U-5727).
The body was later fished out with the help of fire brigade staff.
