In a swift action, Calangute Police arrested two staff members of a popular shack in Candolim following a viral video over the assault of three veterinary doctors.
The incident, which sparked widespread outrage, led to the arrest of Jitendra Singh (24) from Uttarakhand and Arun Kumar Vishvkarma (25) from Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night around 10 pm.
According to police reports, the two were identified as the individuals involved in the attack on the doctors, prompting their immediate arrest.
Authorities have also issued a notice to the owner of the shack, summoning them for further inquiry into the matter.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
