Unknown person booked for impersonating Capt Viriato

The Fatorda police have registered a FIR against unknown person for allegedly impersonating INDIA bloc candidate Captain Viriato Fernandes by circulating doctored voice clips on the social media during the height of electioneering for the May 7 election for the South Goa Seat.

A complaint to this effect by lodged with the Fatorda police by the Congress party. Based on the complaint, the Fatorda police have registered a case of cheating and impersonation against unknown person.
