Verla youth dies of injuries
MAPUSA: A youth from Frestwada-Verla died of injuries he had sustained in an accident at Bokayachi Aradi-Parra.
According to the police, the accident occurred in the wee hours of January 1, when Asif Mohammad Ali was proceeding on his two-wheeler to his residence at Arpora.
As he reached near Bokayachi Aradi-Parra, he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a protection wall of a nearby house.
A grievously injured Asif was rushed to the GMC Hospital and died of injuries while undergoing medical treatment on Monday evening.
PSI Prashant Bhagwat and Constable Dayanand Salgonkar conducted the panchanama and police is investigating the case.
