A section of the wall of an old building which housed the lecture hall of the college section at the Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital at Bambolim came crashing down in the early hours of Wednesday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the mishap took place early in the morning when the class was not in session.

He said that since the Goa State Industrial Development Corporation (GSIDC) was the authority in-charge of the infrastructure, the repairs would be taken up by them after the completion of all formalities.

The GSIDC is likely to take up the work of repairing the wall in a short span of time.
