Persistent monsoon rains have turned Sattari into a lush green destination, with waterfalls flowing in full glory and attracting tourists and nature lovers. The Goa Forest Development Corporation has opened the Naneli, Charavane and Pali waterfalls after putting in place the necessary safety measures and visitor facilities, said GFDC Chairperson and Poriem MLA Deviya Rane. Meanwhile, the month-long Goa Monsoon Trekking Expedition, organised by the Youth Hostels Association of India (Goa State Branch), began on Thursday. The expedition offers participants a chance to explore Sattari’s waterfalls, forests, biodiversity, historical sites and the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary.
