Works begin in Mayem
BICHOLIM: Foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 50 crore were laid in Mayem constituency, to mark the birthday celebration of Speaker Anant Shet.
The inaugurations of completed development projects included a bandhara at Bandoni-Makazan and Karem-Makazan at Hindle-Narvem and inauguration of sports ground at Chamere-Chorao by Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar; inauguration of newly-constructed PHC by Health Minister Francis D’Souza; inauguration of newly constructed Narvem Panchayat building by Speaker Anant Shet and inauguration of underground electricity cabling work from Kelbaiwada to Ardhawada-Mayem by Power Minister Milind Naik. Sakhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant, Panaji MLA Siddharth Kuncolkar, north Goa ZP president Ankita Navelkar and others were present.
