Abolianchem fest will be celebrated on March 4 at Nirmala Institute of Education (NIE) from 10 am onwards with the theme - Water- the elixir of life. There will be a thematic display of the socio-economic, cultural, traditional, ecological and agrarian significance of water. Since NIE is celebrating its diamond jubilee, the milestones spanning its sixty glorious years will be highlighted during the event.
The preparation for the fest began on February 1 and students were trained in preparing eco-friendly items like mollam and palm leaf art to adorn the campus. There would be traditional games for the public. Games like Komya Zuz, Ringanim, Bodeanim, Khambeanim will be demonstrated and played in the stalls.
