“The Revolutionary Goans may have its own principles and thoughts. The political party may be even holy. But, we are asking the party to come under the umbrella of the Save Mhadei, Save movement to save the river. I would like to tell RG leaders that when you walk on the streets, a lot of dust will come, but that does not mean we will throw out the shoes”, D’Silva said.
Saying that 90 per cent of the political parties are expected to respond to the call given by the Civil society, NGOs, activists under the banner of Save Mhadei, Save Goa front, D’Silva requested RG MLA Viresh Borkar to see reason and join the Monday rally at Sanquelim. “MLA Viresh Borkar is a wonderful persons. I know he would understand the nitty gritty of the Mhadei river and why Goans should unit to save the river”, D’Silva added.
