Cash stolen from Maruti temple in Zuarinagar

Burglars on Wednesday stole cash after breaking the fund box of Maruti temple in Zuarinagar.
According to information, outgoing Sancoale panch Satish Padwalkar filed a police complaint that some unknown persons committed theft of cash amount from the fund box of the Maruti temple in Birla-Zuarinagar by breaking open the fund box. However, the exact amount of cash stolen was not known.
Verna police later registered an offence against unknown accused persons under Sections 457 and 380 IPC.
PSI Sanket Talkar of Verna Police station is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Diogo Gracias.

CANACONAMishaps have continued along the NH66 in Canacona and in a bizarre incident on Wednesday night, a loaded Maharashtra truck toppled on the narrow stretch of NH66 highway and fell on a Karnataka truck which had already fallen at Gulem-Canacona.
