Even as the displaced GMC kiosk owners are awaiting the allocation of shops for their rehabilitation, there seem to be problems already staring at them in the form of obstructions by other kiosk owners.In this regard, the displaced kiosk owners have complained to the Collector and the Deputy Collector stating that the other kiosk owners have damaged the newly built structure and created a nuisance.
“It has come to our notice that the kiosk owners have damaged the government property by constructing permanent shed, drilling holes, etc and obstructing entry to the newly built market,” the complaint states.
They have further demanded action against the persons responsible by filing of FIR so that such actions are not repeated in the future.
