Cavelosim Sarpanch Dixon Vaz has called on Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral and discussed a host of development projects in the village.
The meeting that took place at the Secretariat discussed the long pending breakwater facility at the mouth of River Sal. The sarpanch told the minister, who also holds the PWD portfolio that the breakwater facility needs to be constructed at the river Sal mouth on priority.
Dixon told the media that the minister informed that he has already directed the concerned departments to start the process again so that after taking all necessary permissions the work can be retendered.
The Cavelossim sarpanch informed that he also discussed about the roads and culverts that needs to be built in the village through PWD.
