Chinchinim Sarpanch Valentino Barretto has quit office. Valentino, who chaired the Sunday Gram sabha, announced at the meeting that he has already tendered his resignation to the Director of Panchayats.
He explained to the gram sabha members that he has put in his papers as part of the agreement amongst the panchayat members to step down from office. Valentino has presided as the Sarpanch of Chinchinim village panchayat for around two years.
