The second person, who was badly injured and hospitalised, on Sunday in Marcel when cyclone Tauktae lashed Goa, succumbed to his injuries on Monday taking the State's cyclone death count to three.
Shyam Naik, 40, the pillion rider, was undergoing treatment at GMC after an electricity pole fell on him and Kishor Naik, 47, on Sunday. Kishor died while on the way to the hospital the same day.
Ponda Police Inspector Mohan Gaude said Shyam Naik (40) succumbed to injuries on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, all four constituencies in Ponda were severely affected on account of the cyclone
Ponda fire station attended to about 76 calls in various parts of the taluka.
