MARGAO: Two more mud houses collapsed in the Fatorda area of the city during the last 24 hours. Margao fire and emergency services rushed to Fatorda early Monday after receiving a call that a wall of a mud house had collapsed due to waterlogging.
Fire officer Gill D’Sa informed that no one was injured in the incident, adding that the wall collapsed because of waterlogging. He said that the firefighters cleared the way for the stagnant water to drain out from the area. In another incident, a wall of a mud house came down at Dovondem. No one, however, was injured in the incident.
