PERNEM
A 37-year-old man from Mumbai was found dead in a stream at Malpem-Pernem on Saturday morning.
A Pernem police team went to the site and retrieved the body of Ganesh Paspoo from the stream.
Preliminary enquiry conducted by police revealed that deceased was seen asleep on the parapet wall of the culvert near the stream on Friday and accidentally may have fallen into the stream.
No foul play has been suspected.
Police sent the body for an autopsy at the GMC hospital in Bambolim and Pernem PSI Prathmesh Parsekar is conducting further investigation.
