Former PWD Minister and Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral has claimed that his style of working was not liked by some ministers in the government.
Commenting on the meeting convened by party workers on Sunday to discuss his resignation as minister, Cabral told local reporters said he would try and clarify the issue before party workers and that he is duty-bound to abide with the decisions of the party.
Cabral said he has been invited for the meeting and would be present to clarify the issue.
Cabral admitted that his style of working and easy access to any person, even on the phone, was not liked by some ministers, but he did not elaborate further.
Cabral said that having resigned as minister, he is free from handling other issues and can concentrate totally on the development of Curchorem constituency.
“There are projects like the Curchorem hospital building which began in 2014-15 but is still not completed in all aspects till date. I can now focus on projects like this which have remained incomplete in my constituency,” said Cabral.
