A 21-year-old youth Pushpraj Haldankar from Poira-Bicholim died while three youth sustained minor injuries after two motorbikes met with an accident at Poira-Shirgao road on Sunday morning.
According to the Bicholim police, the accident involved two motorbikes carrying four youth, with one pillion rider on each bike. One motorbike was headed towards Shirgao at the time of the incident.
Tragically, near the accident site, both motorbikes skidded off the road, causing all four individuals to fall onto the pavement. Pushpraj Haldankar succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The remaining three individuals sustained minor injuries, including the two pillion riders.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where Pushpraj was declared brought dead. The other three individuals are currently receiving medical treatment.
