Shiv Premis withdraw plaint after youth apologises

In yet another incident of hurting religious sentiment, a youth belonging to the minority community was let off after he apologised for allegedly commenting on the Lord Parshuram statue on the social media.

The 17-year-old youth who resides along the Anjuna coastal belt allegedly made a comment on Instagram on Lord Parshuram and was accused of hurting religious sentiments.

A group of Shiv Premis then filed a complaint against the youth at the Anjuna Police Station.

“The matter was resolved after the boy apologised for the comment and the complainants later withdrew the complaint,” a police official informed.
