Apparently aware of the negative campaign by the opposition, Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo appealed to people not to get carried away with the opposition talk but to back him during the ensuing elections to carry the good work forward.
“A lot of people are craning their necks saying your MLA has not done any work. I don’t know what work they wanted me to do. But our people are aware, what development work the MLA has done along with the panchayat members and the support of the people,” Ticlo said.
He further said that he had high expectations from the people of Aldona to give him a resounding mandate in the elections.
“Elections are approaching. Just about six months are left. I want all of you to remain with us to do good work. I have the winnability factor, but people should elect me with a big margin,” he said.
