4 booked for cheating man of Rs 4.79 cr over bungalow sale

Pernem police have booked four persons for cheating a man to the tune of Rs 4.79 cr over the promise of selling a bungalow to him at Chopdem, Pernem. 

An FIR in this connection has been filed against Rahul Sharma, Vishal Garg (both partners of M/S Alchemy India), and Harish Arora and Abhinav Chandala for collecting Rs 4.79 cr from the complainant towards a bungalow but failing to hand over the property to him.

The complainant has alleged that all accused induced him to pay Rs 2.62 cr towards security deposit to become exclusive marketing agent to sell villas situated at Chopdem. The accused also induced the complainant to deposit Rs 2.40 cr towards marketing expenses.

The villas have been developed by Alchemy India Pvt Ltd.
