With respect to the Public Interest Litigation Writ Petition no. 15 of 2011, in my view, it appears to be a total contempt and disregard to the order passed by the Honourable Judge of the High Court of Bombay at Goa with regards to the following points: Inspection of hotels/restaurants by GSPCB to investigate sewage discharge; Directorate of Health/Directorate of Food and Drugs administration to ensure that the commercial establishments operating in or around Colva beach are functioning in compliance with the provisions of Goa Public Health Act 1985 particularly with regards to the health and sanitary conditions; Colva panchayat for effective collection of garbage; the beach square and creek looks like a "free for all" garbage dumping place with no visible bins in place; Colva creek is the filthiest ever that I have seen; Burning of garbage is being done at the beach area and the panchayat and police seems to be least interested in enforcement of the court order! Can I request the honourable High Court to please look into this non-compliance by the various stakeholders and please take appropriate action on the same?
