Govt must heed to the voice of its people

It is with great distress and utter anguish that Goans across the State have been tirelessly demonstrating against those three very anti-people controversial projects.

We should in great admiration commend all those selfless leaders and the volunteers who have been tirelessly fighting around the clock. All this when Goans across the world are watching with great despair as to how their once tranquil Goa is now by the day being selfishly ruined for the personal greed of some of the ruling politicians.

I would appeal to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and some of his Ministers who seem to be currently ever so Power intoxicated on account of that Chair they hold, to please pause, think and reflect for a while as to what will happen to our Goa which they have today abandoned.

Our MLAs were elected by the people and so are they duty bound to heed to that intrinsic voice of the electorate. It is so surprising and very intriguing that despite what is enfolding across Goa, some of the Ministers and ruling MLAs cannot yet gauge the pulse of the common Goenkar who are all so outraged and desperately demonstrating around the clock to Save whatever  remains of their once Sobit Goa.

Sawant needs to take a call and courageously scrap all these three very controversial projects.
