It's a prominent step though that eyebrows were raised by the authorities concerned pertaining to data of mid day meal scheme. A dedication in fostering a sustainable future for the children and the community as a whole, a robust mechanism to capture the said data needs to be in place, as low percentage of data is revealed on the automated monitoring system. (AMS). However, the progressive work by the concerned authorities is laudable. Moreover, emphasizing the need for providing nutritious meals to children, the mid day meal scheme came into existence. Subsequently, the children coming from low income background were benefitted by the said scheme. Their parents had less stress pertaining to afternoon meals as the children were served nutritious meals in the school. This auspicious move provided the children at least a better meal in a day. However, it kept them away from getting involved in small petty jobs for their living. Instead better sense prevailed upon them to join school.
