As we look forward to quality products, good-quality highways mean qualified engineering and durable routes built to handle restricted speed limits and ensure long-distance traffic safety. In simple terms, they are characterised by smooth, heavy-duty paving, excellent visibility, a robust foundation and efficient drainage systems to prevent weather-related deterioration, thereby maintaining structural integrity, safety and design through the use of quality materials capable of sustaining heavy-duty trucks and tankers.
For Canacona MLA and Minister Ramesh Tawadkar, "Any road and transportation development in the village leads to the development of our nation." These thoughtful reforms come through rural investment in infrastructure, creating jobs where people live, supporting tourism, and saving time, energy and enabling stress-free drives. As they say, "To gain something, you often have to sacrifice something else"—this applies here too, as we will lose Nilgiri trees and scrub, but can always plant twice as many across the stretch to beautify the project with greenery.
