Umar Khalid is not a prisoner, he is a chilling message, the message is that if you are a Muslim and speak against the current BJP Government, it will incarcerate you without trial for indefinite period and the courts will do nothing to protect your fundamental rights.Same way, the assassination of Haren Pandya was a message to everyone in BJP, that if you cross the path of certain leaders, you will end up dead in a car without a trace of blood found in the car. The death of Judge Loya was a message to the judiciary, your being a judge will not protect you from their wrath. The jailing of P.Chidambaram was a message to everyone in Congress, if you have crossed their path in the past, they will ensure that you suffer and that it should serve as a lesson for the future. This is the way criminals and mafia bosses operate and that is how BJP leaders have been operating since 2001, when they came to dominate the scene in Gujarat. And the sole culprit who allowed this to happen is none other than LK Advani.
