The Benaulim panchayat ghar is a heavily used public building owing to the fact that there is a post office, a milk distribution centre, an ambulance station and also a veterinary outpost within the structure. There is also a garbage sorting facility adjoining the building at the rear. But with every monsoon, we see waterlogging around the premises, which makes it difficult for vehicles and pedestrians alike. Loose aggregate, sans compaction, has been spread around the building. Would the village panchayat get the area paved or tarred?
