Public is inconvenienced every time a VVIP passes along the busy roads in Panaji. The authorities should use the waterways along the Mandovi River so that these VVIPs can have a closer look at the museum of casinos floating there and can probably be housed in one of them. Haven’t they come to Goa to gamble about the candidates anyway?
Good roads are the fundamental right of every tax paying citizen. Building sub-standard roads and patching it up before elections. Raising the cost of fuel and then bringing it down. Haven’t we seen enough of those gimmicks? Having their photographs all along the streets on every electric pole, gives one the impression that they are most wanted. Let us however remember their face when we press the button on the electronic voting machine.
In 2017, the Goan electorate showed the previous government their place. We were however fooled by the wolves in sheep clothing.
