As of November 7, a transformer near Tip-Top Mansion at Dhavali in Ponda was noticed in an exposed condition. Similarly a fuse box over an electricity pole along Dhavali-Top Cola route was also found in a similar condition.
Both these cases are dangerous for innocent pedestrians proceeding along this strategic route. In case any pedestrian happens to touch the live electrical wires there could be adverse consequences.
It is the need of the hour for the electricity department to fix the door of the transformer and that of the fuse box at above location so that public at large are assured safety.
Let us hope that the higher officials at this important department would instruct the maintenance staff deputed at this location to initiate positive action.
