It is a well known fact and nothing new that those with money and in power when convicted and put behind bars enjoy life, manage maximum furlough, luxuries in jail and criminals have been known to even issue "suparis" successfully and conduct their nefarious deeds from within. This time Minister Satyendar Jain of AAP, the BJP's strong rival is accused of being served good non jail food and getting a massage from a jail inmate, evidence reportedly obtained from jail CCTV. Most media are flooded with these clips, played again and again with commentary of luxury food and rapist physiotherapist employed etc. The whataboutery allegation by AAP pointing out that Amit Shah was also given VIP treatment in jail is suppressed. So was Lalu Prasad and a host of others including film stars dIfferentially treated in lail, but we do not know whether the jail authorities were punished and why the system still prevails in our jails today. When will India deliver equitable justice expected of a world Vishwaguru?
