Banastarim accident case under cloud

Are there doubts that the Banastarim accident case will be unfair, where three people have died and three others have been injured after a speeding Mercedes-Benz SUV caused a tragic accident? However, a cloud of suspicion hangs over the investigation as hundreds of people gathered at the Mardol police station, voicing demand for the arrest of the woman believed to have been behind the wheel during the fatal crash. This high profile case, right from the beginning has been displaying ambiguity.  People of Goa want justice in the accident case.  When there are no watchdogs, they even skip the traffic rules and speed away.  Most of the fatal accident cases are due to speeding and rash driving clearly shows the absence or inaction of traffic enforcement authorities. Thrilled with a feeling of heroism in breaking safety rules, road rules and scant regard for other road users are the main reason.  Lack of accountability at transport offices is also one of the reasons for rising number of accidents in Goa.  Hope that case is not dragged on unnecessarily and proper justice is done.
