A mega north Indian real estate company is now promoting a mega real estate enclave/project in Bicholim, boasting of it as one of the biggest in India! Are these type of huge projects not a big threat to small Goa ? This mega project is marketed big time in the polluted places of north India so, is Goa next to join this polluted list of places with all this indiscriminate and mindless destruction of its green cover? It’s obvious to me that the local selfish Goan BJP ministers/MLAs facilitating this mega project have a lot to gain from the same. These specific ministers then offer some relatively smaller amount of “charity” to cover up the massive loot they make ! Our limited resources, clean environment, local demographics/identity etc are all at stake. Are the good people of Bicholim okay with all of this ?
