We are fortunate to practically witness, enjoy and learn from what we read about the grass roots stories of the Goan tribal culture from the Adivasi civilisation.
The Lokotsav in Amone will definitely be sight to watch. The depiction of Adivasi civilisation at Lokotsav helps thousands of local and foreign visitors to understand the various aspects of tribal culture and heritage.
It exhibits folk crafts, artisans, music, dance, sports, colourful exhibition of art, antiques, herbal medicines, authentic cuisine, local produce and marvel of products. The artists are not only Goan but from different States.
This was possible only due to the untiring efforts of Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar who has put his vision into transforming the three-day 8th to 10th December 2023 annual event into a throughout the year extravaganza.
Looking at the on-going preparations, there is no doubt that this 23rd
Lokostav will win thousands hearts in this beautiful village of Amone at Poinguinim, Canacona.
