Goa president of AAP Amit Palekar has given an open lifeline for the BJP by hurriedly declaring the name of Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas as its party's candidate for the South Goa Lok Sabha seat bypassing the INDIA bloc alliance and in the bargain has openly backstabbed the Congress (despite the party having a sitting MP in South Goa) to somehow help the BJP's South Goa candidate to win by default this time in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Goa. I think that over-ambitious leaders like Amit Palekar should stop displaying so much of arrogance and simply daydreaming because the BJP's South Goa seat candidate has always been defeated in the past by putting up just one common candidate by all opposition parties together and not otherwise. I feel that if opposition parties want to defeat the BJP's South Goa seat candidate once again, then either AAP candidate Venzy Viegas should voluntarily withdraw from the fray or else leaders of all opposition parties, especially the Congress should seriously decide not to field their own candidates this time but should go to wholeheartedly support just one common candidate, namely AAP's Viegas.
